Just one question. What happens if a referral with their own email address completes an offer using the main person's credit card number? Is there a penalty or do they even check that when they do the authorization process?
If you signup under the link provided and get a referral of your own, then they must use their own credit card. Even though I suspect that some people get away with this, I would advise not to risk it as when you go through the verification process, they may or may not check this. I'm not too sure. I just don't risk it.
If your referral is afraid of using a credit card though, they're MANY pre-paid credit cards available. Go to the mall or even purchase one online. They're quite cheap, and they act as a real card. Try to get a VISA card as that card is most flexible for doing an offer.

I have a question, say i have 5 friends not including myslef. I want an Xbox 360 and need 5 referals to get it as well as complete some offers myself. My 5 friends sign up under me as referals, complete the offers and now i get my Xbox 360. But now each one of my 5 friends need 5 referals of their own if they want an Xbox 360 for themselves. Could I and friends 1,2,3,4 become referals for friend 5 by signing up for new or different offers, keeping in mind that no one person signed up for an offer they allready completed. chris: if I understand you correctly, you want to have like a circle so that your 5 friends and yourself all get xbox 360s from the SAME site?
If so, you can't do that! You can each complete a freebie site ONCE, and be someone's referral ONCE. You can do everything else you mentioned (signing up for unique offers, your referrals signing up and giving you credit), but you can't be each other's referral on the SAME site as that would be considered fraud (read the site's TOS: one account per person).
What you CAN do however, is work on 6 DIFFERENT Xbox 360 sites. I can recommend you a couple of good legit ones if you like, starting with the one I mentioned already.
So basically...
site 1: you signup, get 5 friends
site 2: 1st friend signs up, gets 5 friends
site 3: 2nd friend signs up, gets 5 friends
etc...

Strider, after completing the whole process, it takes up to a week to get approved. Then within a matter of 2-3 days your gift is ordered from places like Best Buy or Amazon and shipped right away. Anonymous: That's correct. Only unique signups to the freebie site are allowed as this ensures only one person signups up at that location. If you signup or (in some cases) even login at a public network, like at a library, school, or workplace, multiple people will be sharing the same ip address in that network and this is against the site's rules.
But you're right, you can get your friends or your co-workers to be your referrals BUT they must sign up at their own house. It's best for each to do their own thing at their own house to avoid any confusions and everything will be perfectly fine :)

Anonymous, according to what I read Xpango was good, but is starting to look more like a scam now days. Plus, their sites are quite impossible to complete, in relation to the other MUCH easier freebie sites (like the ones I mentioned on this site).
For example, let's say you want an XBox 360 Premium. On Xpango you need a whopping 29 credits! That's like getting 29 referrals. On the sites I mentioned here (Gaming Monster or Custom Order This) you only need 10. That's like 3x the difference. The offers are much easier on these sites too, compared to the gambling/hosting offers you see on Xpango. I hope you see the BIG difference!

Anonymous, that's a 2-part question. When you get referrals, each of them must do 1 or 2 offers so they can get credit (and at the same time give you credit).
If your referrals want their own gift, they have to get their own referrals. If they don't want their own gift and are simply helping you out, then they DO NOT needs to get their own referrals.

Neil, freebie sites request separate households which is usually determined by separate IP addresses. Unfortunately, college dorms recycle IPs so it will look like multiple accounts to the freebie site.
What you can try to do though is at smaller networks like Gaming Monster or Custom Order This you can let the admin know of your case and get permission from them. They usually comply when requested.
As for your other question, like mentioned on the site, if you're not interested in any offer you do anymore, you're allowed to terminate it. Credit is given as long as you complete the requirements stated. For example, if an offer request you stay on for 2 weeks, you must stay on for at least that period. After that point you can choose to stay or quit - your choice!

Ok i just recently signed up to this whole thing and did the best buy offer and all. Now i need 12 referrals to get my xbox 360 elite with two controllers and a game. I have about maybe 3 friends that i could get to do that in real life, and the rest of them would just say its a scam and say the hell with it even though i would try and prove to them it is not. Is it a possibility to put up flyers around my school which is a highschool by the way and ask people to do it that way? If you can help me with anything it would be much appericated.

- You're welcome to post your link anywhere where it isn't regarded as spamming. Many forums allow placing any link (other than adult/warez/illegal stuff, etc.) in your signature, so try that.
- You can ask anyone you like to be your referral, even your relatives, your co-workers, girlfriend, whoever... Just be sure to ask them to hear you out so that you can explain the whole stuff to them. Perhaps even point them to my freebie info site so they can understand it better.
- A flyer is a good strategy. I heard of someone doing that in his high school and got around 35 signups, where he only needed like 12!!! Perhaps you should create a website (at like freewebs.com) and place your referral link and a link to my freebie info site too (for more details).
I'm telling you to make a site for it's much easier to type in freewebs.com/xbox then some long weird url :D
Also, just in case this really takes off well for you, try joining a free ps3 or a wii site (look at my site, it's from the same network as the 360 one), just in case people prefer those instead of a free xbox 360.

It's a new policy they implemented about 2-3 weeks ago to prevent people from frauding them with fake credit cards.

Anonymous, yes that's correct. You can provide your referrals your referral link and they signup and do some easy offer. You can provide your link via email, msn/aol, whatever way that's appropriate (meaning, don't spam it all over the net).

James, I'm not sure where you read that from. I'm a member of probably over 25 sites and don't get any unwanted mail that isn't regular junk mail anyways. Everyone gets junk mail, it's part of the internet! Create a new email address if you like, perhaps at GMail?

The sites mentioned on my sites are very legit. I've been actively monitoring these sites and have researched them quite a bit to know.
There are some sites that are DIY (Do-It-Yourself), meaning you do all the offers yourself and don't need referrals. And there are sites where you do just 1 offer, and then find a couple of people to do just 1 offer too. Again, what is the site you signed up too?

Hi, i was thinking of doing the 360elite4free.com one. I want to do the points system one, and it says I need 1000 points for my item. It has at the top, level A offers, and Level B offers. Do I need to get 1000 points from A and then 1000 points from B?
Anonymous: No, you can pick either level of offers A or B. It just has to accumulate to the 1000 points.
The difference between level A and B is that A has offers that give more points, and B has slightly less. You're welcome to pick anything that interest you in whichever level.

If you haven't done any of the above, then only you can ABANDON the account you already made and make a new account at the same freebie site.

To know how to get credit for you referrals, simply give them the exact link shown to you when you signup/login. To be sure, copy/paste it in an email, IM, website, forum, etc. Your referrals don't need to enter special number this way -- it will automatically be known once the link is clicked on and they sign up immediately.
As for your last question, I don't quite understand you. Just so you know though, you or you referrals never EVER pay to sign up to a freebie site. It is a freebie site after all :)

The offer part is definitely not a catch! It is mentioned very clearly, and I've even devoted a big section (step 2) to help people understand that is a required step to keep freebie sites make money and give people a free xbox 360 at the same time.
If you don't have a credit, find someone who can do the entire site under their name/card, and then give you the gift when it comes. If not, I think the first site in step 1 still has a couple of non-credit card offers in the level B offers. Try it out!

If they do allow you to do it multiple times, it is quite inefficient -- you will need to get about 2x the referrals for the same gift. It is much easier and quicker to just sign up for a new legit freebie site.
Therefore, in order to earn multiple free xbox 360s, you will need to make a new account per freebie site using the links provided in step 1. Good luck earning multiple free xbox 360s!

Anonymous, to get a free xbox 360 on a no credit card site, it requires many more referrals b/c the advertisers of these sites don't pay much $ to the freebie site. Freebie sites determine the value of a gift by the number of referrals. More expensive the gift, more referrals are required. The going rate per referral is about $35-50 on a credit card site. On a non-credit card site, advertisers can only pay about $10. That's why it is 4-5x as much.
A reason why advertisers pay so less on these no credit card sites is because the offers are even easier than non-credit card sites. Something as simple as getting a ring tone vs. signing up for a product or service. If you look at it from an advertiser's point of view, advertisers can POSSIBLY make more $ from offering a product or service than just providing a ring tone.
By giving your number, not only does it go through HUGE companies like Blockbuster or Netflix so that its safe, but it also ensures that proper info is being entered and you're not scamming the advertiser. Just like you they don't want to be scammed. Be nice, and they will reward you...in this case a free xbox 360!!!

ObLivion, once you provide your referral link to people and they sign up using it, they will show up in your referral list. In order to get credit as them being a referral they will have to do just 1 easy offer and you'll get credit for them. Each referral that gets credit, you move 1 step closer to getting your free xbox 360.
Offers are mandatory as that is how freebie sites get paid from advertisers, and they then use some part of this money to give your gift to you.
OFFERS ARE TOTALLY SAFE! There are many big name companies on these sites, such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Video Professor. These companies are worth hundreds of millions of $, and thus, you have no reason to be scared, You're not dealing with some unknown advertiser here who just turned up last week. Avinash, the site's policy is to only send gifts, like a free xbox 360 to US and Canada. Other countries are only allowed to receive the cash payments. If you speak to the customer support department of that site, you can try asking for a cheque (if you do not have paypal).

Runaway, you can either do it the "referral" way (do 1 offer, get people to help you) or the "points" way (do some easy offers yourself, and get no one to help you). You pick which way you want when you sign up to the first site in step 1. Simple as that! :)
When you are doing some of those point accounts on teh sites, when you do a survey or quiz can you give a fake phone number when asked for one.
Jay, you must never enter any wrong info. From what I witnessed in my 2.5+ years of doing this stuff is that advertisers never call, and the address is asked in case the offer requires something to be sent to you. To top it off best, if you add your phone number to your country's DO-NOT-CALL list, they will never ever call you. (US and Canada have it now...not sure about the UK)

Jay, it's not a 100% guarantee that they won't call so real info needs to always be entered, just like you would do so at a sign up for any advertiser. They might call, in case they need to speak with you, but from what I witnessed they usually don't.
Just so you know, many of these advertisers are big name companies. Some you might have heard of (Blockbuster, Video Professor) and some other big ones you might have not (Stamps.com). They don't deal with junk calls! Just like you don't want to get scammed, they don't either when they pay so much in an ATTEMPT to get you as a customer. Be nice, and they will be very nice.

Jay, if you feel more comfortable with signing up with one of the advertisers you recognize there, by all means, go ahead and sign up with the advertiser you're interested in most.
Keep in mind though about the offers recommended in step 2. Many people reported back to me that those offers are the best crediting and the advertisers for those are the easiest to work with. That is why it is most popular, and why I'm suggesting others that might be interested in them too.

Do you have to complete an offer to get referrals? Or can you go ahead and skip getting offers and try and get refferals first instead?
David, although it is not necessary to do an offer immediately after you sign up, it is strongly recommended to do so.
This is because based on personal and from what I heard from several people, referrals ALWAYS ask their referee (that is you) what the offers are like, which ones you did, how did you do it, how much it costs, etc. If you do not do an offer before you refer people, they will refrain from helping you out based on the inability to answer their questions from personal experience.
So, even though you can put of doing an offer until later (but remember, that you still got to do one), it is best to do an offer right away and get it over with. The offers are extremely easy at the moment, but there is no guarantee you will see such easy offers perhaps in a month or two from now since they change it as time moves on.

Doug W, once you complete an offer, you're not allowed to complete the same one ever again - no matter what the freebie site is. This way advertisers are only interested in new potential customers, and freebie sites live on forever!

Anonymous #1, you will need to do whatever the freebie site says you're required to do in order to get credit. I just went to the Trainn website and for the offer description it says:
"Rent video games online! Register now and receive your first month of service for only $8.95!"
So, it seems the minimum required for you to do is try out the service for 1 month. Do that and you will get credit. After that you can decide to leave the service if you don't like it, or stay on and enjoy their wonderful service.
Anonymous #2, offers change every couple of weeks. I've noticed the offers have changed since the last time the list in step 2 was updated. There might be some new free trial offers. You would have to check out the offers for yourself and see. I didn't check the offer descriptions in detail nor have I visited the advertiser's website, but from what I read on the offer descriptions, the Netflix and "Seattle Coffee Direct" seem to have free trials. They might be more offers though. I suggest you check them out for yourself.

Anonymous, I don't think it will come back to level A because the advertiser significantly reduced the commission level it paid to Transcendent Innovations. This was quite awhile ago, so I'm pretty sure it will stay in level B.
It was a very popular offer, but there are plenty more new offers which you can try out now. Whatever the offer is now, it is still a heck a lot cheaper than buying a xbox 360 in the market. If not free, I'd rather pay like $5-10 for an offer than pay over $400 for the system. Wouldn't you?

TopherThomas, read step 3. Do whatever you think you're comfortable with. Many people go to their friends and family first because they know they can ask them (or if it comes to it, maybe bribe them lol).
Some find people online to trade with in forum communities, make websites, make youtube videos. Be creative, but don't do things against the freebie site's terms.

As step 2 says, you only need to do 1 easy advertiser's offer to get your gift. Step 1 is sign up for one of the sites in step 1. And then you're almost done :)
Quick question when you are signing up it says to put your adress in and not PO box or etc but you see I live on a farm and We dont have and adress so I dont know what to do?
